Starting as a freelance programmer while still in school in 1985, Khalid’s journey began with a strong foundation in computer engineering. He transitioned from academia to business in the 1990s, becoming a tech entrepreneur and later an angel investor and VC fund manager. His extensive experience working with corporate clients has provided him with deep insights into how CEOs think and lead.
His entrepreneurial spirit led to the authorship of his best-selling book, “84 Tips for Successful Business Start-ups,” and co-authoring another influential work. Khalid’s multicultural upbringing in England and engineering education in Colorado have equipped him to excel in multinational, multicultural environments. His stint as a cross-cultural consultant in the USA further honed his ability to bridge diverse perspectives.
