He transitioned from academia to business in the 1990s, becoming a tech entrepreneur and later an angel investor and VC fund manager. His entrepreneurial spirit led to the authorship of his best-selling book, “84 Tips for Successful Business Start-ups,” and co-authoring another influential work.
